 General Legal Consultancy Services

  1. Draft, review and amend various commercial contracts, including but not limited to, investment agreements, lease agreements, sale agreements, memorandums of understanding, undertakings and declarations.
  2. Draft, review and amend various letters, memorandums, notices and other related legal documents.
  3. Advise on issues relating to contractors such as agreements, commitments, delays in completion amongst others.
  4. Assistance in claiming/collecting outstanding service fees and charges in addition to any unpaid charges for areas provided by the Company to third parties.
  5. Deal with third party wrongdoing towards the Company.
  6. Deal with late payment from third parties to the Company such as rent, service charges, or any other payment of whatsoever nature.
  7. Establishment of owner’s unions and follow up on establishment requirements.
  8. Provide legal consultancy and advice with respect to legal matters of all types; and
  9. Attend meetings of a legal nature with the Client and represent the Client in such meetings with related parties when required.

 Labour and Human Resources Legal Services

  1. Draft, review and amend employment contracts.
  2. Draft, review and amend the schedules of disciplinary measures and sanctions in addition to the internal labor codes and have the same approved by the Ministry of Labour.
  3. Draft, review and amend all notices issued from the Client to any of its employees.
  4. Draft, review and amend written warnings to the Client’s employees and recommend the relevant disciplinary procedures when required.
  5. Attend investigation meeting with staff members.
  6. Draft employee investigation meeting minutes and the recommended disciplinary actions as per the law and the approved schedule of disciplinary measures; and
  7. Provide legal advice to the Client with respect to all the necessary procedures and resolutions pertaining to the applicable Labour Law and human resources practices.

 Legal Advocacy and Judicial Representation Services

  1. Provide legal advice and opinions to the Company regarding appropriate procedures to be followed in disputes and recommend the best defenses that should be used in cases which are either filed on behalf of the Company or against it to preserve its legal rights whether in courts, arbitration forums or any other relevant body which the Company requests representation.
  2. Follow up on all different hearings, cases, and disputes in which the Firm is representing the Company in and to inform the Company directly of all case and judgments, including what has been performed by the Firm, and provide advice on what needs to be done in the next hearing based on such judgments.
  3. File labor complaints and lawsuits on behalf of the Client, represent it and advocate its interests.
  4. File civil lawsuits on behalf of the Client, represent it and advocate its interests.
  5. File commercial lawsuits on behalf of the Client, represent it and advocate its interests.
  6. Represent the Client and its employees before Criminal Courts of all degrees and advocate their interests.
  7. Represent the Client before all official entities pertaining to the lawsuits in question, including Police Stations, the General Prosecution and the Ministry of Labour.
  8. Execute judgments issued in favour of the Client and obtain associated rights.
  9. Represent the Client before the Courts of Execution.
  10. Represent the Client in legal negotiations and advocating its interest; and
  11. File claims and represent the Client before arbitration and mediation forums.

 Corporate Services

  1. Amend the Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, and/or establish new companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain and complete the required procedures before the relevant government bodies.
  2. Ensure that the Client complies with the applicable provisions of the Commercial Companies Law and other applicable regulations.
  3. File information with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to comply with the requirements of periodic filing of the annual audited financial statements and related reports.
  4. File notices of appointment, removal and resignation of directors with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
  5. File applications for registration of intellectual properties and trademarks.
